jimmyjoe79 I was lucky to catch these guys supporting the New Candys with the Flavor Crystals on 4/20 in Minneapolis, outside of which I heard they rarely play. Since then, I can't get enough. On this, their second album, they take a somewhat lighter approach to the spacy psychedelia of their earlier work, yet no less substantial. They are great at creating swirling soundscapes to get lost in. They blend many styles together into their own unique sound. I can't wait til the next release. Favorite track: Surf In G.

Vocals as instruments and instruments as vocals.

Understated keyboards in support, slow percussion holding things together with a bond solid; subtle base riffs too.

Chatham Rise get it! Big time.
